Dear Parishioners,
Weather permitting, we plan to cut Badnjaks for our parish on January 6th. The location is approximately two hours away and the plan is to meet in front of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral at 4 аm and leave together. In the event of an inclement weather forecast, we will leave the evening prior, January 5th. Upon return, we will enjoy a lenten lunch in the Cultural Center.
We ask all those wishing to participate in а sacred Badnjaks cutting tradition to contact our hosts no later than January 2nd. Parishioners who commit should be able to go either on January 6th or 5th, depending on the weather.
